Midwest Paragon™ Series and
Heavy Duty Mining Series™
Enclosed Vessel Loading to 1800* TPH and 60' of travel
Enclosed vessels can be loaded dust free at high capacities using ship and barge loaders with tapered discharge scavengers. Dry dusty aerated products which are transported by an enclosed ship or barge, can be loaded through round deck hatches. This loading spouts are capable of high throughput capacity and includes vertical travels to 60 ft.
Enclosed vessels are usually loaded using an Airflo™ air gravity conveyor, screw conveyor, drag or belt conveyor. Applications of this type can include a Midwest Vaculoader® designed into the structural end of the shiploading boom with an Airflo™ air gravity conveyor or Multiflo™ screw conveyor feed. With the Vaculoader® located on the discharge end of the shiploading boom, the dust control and the loading spout remain in one compact assembly. Using this type of integral dust filtration, complex dust piping is eliminated.
Pivot gimbal assemblies for non-Vaculoader® systems are available for conveyor booms that are designed to luft up and down for storage or park.
Options include automatic lowering and level sensing kits, highly effective air vibrators, product diverters, positioning handles and levelling jacks as well as construction materials for applications requiring abrasive resistant, high temperature conditions or to comply with marine standards.
The Vacupac™ I and II filtration modules are designed to be light weight and cost effective. These internal filtration and clean air fan systems eliminate dust collectors and high maintenance dust piping. Vacupac™ I filter module fits under the main pan and includes integral filters and automatic compressed air filter purging system.
Vacupac™ II Bustle Filter systems are located on the lower section of the retractable bulk loading spout.
Options include automatic lowering which lowers the spout as the vessel settles, spout discharge positioning handles, manual or powered port/starboard product deflectors to divert cargo for a balanced load, level sensing systems to alert loading operator that ship hold is full, high-efficiency, piston type air vibrators to release dust buildup inside lower scavenger and stainless steel deck leveling jacks, either manual or powered, to allow scavenger of spout to rest level on ship's deck during loading.
*Throughput capacities based on 60 PCF fines at 12 FPS entry velocity. |
