This robust double rack and pinion manual slide gate is designed for non aerated granuals and lumps and includes a 304 stainless steel machined gate blade sliding on cam rolls with the MIDWEST exlusive stainless steel eccentrics for each lower cam roll. These eccentrics are factory adjusted which applies pressure to the gate blade as it slides under the seal. As wear occurs these eccentrics can be field adjusted to accommodate wear on the seal. Gate blade construction options include wear resistant Class II and Class V construction (250 BHN AR or 400 BHN AR). Refer to MIDWEST classes of construction available. Class VT Triten™ blade construction also available. Manual operators include reversible ratchet lever, hand wheel or chain wheel. Specify location of manual operator, ie; left or right side. Refer to drawing. Gate frames are heavy 4” 7.25 lb/ft structural channel to HOMG 450 (18”x 18”) and 6”, 10.5 lb/ft structural channel to HOMG 1200 (48”x 48”). For moderately aerated products a MIDWEST dust sealed transition is recommended. For highly aerated fines the MIDWEST MRWV Series 90 Degree Operating Valve is recommended. Consult factory for sizes other than standard.
