This gate valve is designed for accurate flow control of aerated fines with silo aeration air not exceeding 5 psig and granuals and lumpy products. The MLA precision machined linear actuator is completely sealed and is dust tight. The actuator includes a manual hand wheel operator and a visual position indicator which displays the percentage of open area. This robust gate will provide excellent flow control of product being withdrawn from a silo or hopper. This gate valve can also be used for manual emergency silo shut off. Gate construction is heavy 4 inch 7.25# channel. Blades are machined 3/8 inch stainless steel, riding on 1" diameter hardened camrolls with stainless steel machined hexagon eccentrics to maintain blade pressure against seal. Seals are 1/2 inch thinck 85 durometer polyurethane protected by 1/4 inch Abrasion Resistnat inlet liner.
