Heavy Duty Mining Series
PRE-ENGINEERED MODULES
1. Separate Torquemaster Drives
This Torquemaster drive assembly is the basic separate drive used with either cast precision machined lifting pulleys or machined grooved drums.
2. Torquemaster Drive Components
Cast Torquemaster precision machined cable lifting pulleys.
Integral drive system, components and Runaway brake system.
3. Runaway Brake System
The Runaway brake system is applicable to both integral and separate Torquemaster drive systems.
4. Failsafe Weigh Monitoring System
Provides an instant display of total weight of retractable loading or stacking system.
5. Integral Torquemaster Drives
Torquemaster cast machined lift pulleys which eliminate fabricated pulley deflection. This drive assembly allows for ease of installation as complete retractable loading or stacking spout and can usually be installed in one lift. Includes main drive pan assembly and all drive components.
6, 6A. Vacupac I Filter Systems
Available on all Midwest Heavy Duty Mining Series loaders and stackers and can eliminate expensive dust collectors or bag houses and complex high maintenance dust piping.
7. Midwest Telescoping Tube System
Available with or without tube to tube seals depending upon the application. This series of column control is ideal for large abrasive lumps.
8. Midwest Retracting Cone System
Retracting cones are available for loading fine, granular or small to medium size lumps. Available in seven classes of construction including stainless steel and high abrasive resistant AR Brinell steel. Ideal for applications in high abuse areas.
9. Ladderloader Retractable Cone System
This tilted cone system can be used in some applications to reduce velocity of product and can also reduce degradation of the cargo.
10. Rhinoflex Flexible Outer Spout System
Special extruded 6061-T6 aluminum inner and outer rings compress fabric in a concave half round cavity assuring full 360 degree compression between rings and fabric.
11. Flexible Outer Spout Dust Bonnet
This dust bonnet with optional air and dust withdrawal flanged connection can be piped to a dust collector or scrubber. Inlet is flanged to connect to a conveyor discharge chute or pivot gimbal and Rhinoflex flexible outer spout.
11A. Anti-degradation Module
Chokefeederฎ upper anti-degradation module senses product level and signals Chokefeederฎ vanes to modulate.
12. Pivot Gimbals
Designed for shiploader booms that luft up and down for operating and full up for park. Allows retractable shiploading spout to suspend vertically or plumb at any operating angle.
13. Venting Transitions
For telescoping tube internal venting which allows positive pressure air and dust buildup to be evacuated to a dust collector or scrubber.
14. Chokefeederฎ I Vacupac II Inlet Assembly
Used with a telescoping tube system that interfaces with the top of a Vacupac II Bustle Filter. Includes cast steel sheave brackets and cast ductile lift cable sheaves for 180 degree wrap.
15. Chokefeederฎ II Vacupac II Inlet Assembly
Used with retracting cone system and interfaces to top of Vacupac II Bustle Filter.
16. Vacupac II Bustle Filter
This filtration system captures vortexing displaced air and dust at the spout discharge. Designed for peak efficiency with wide "V" pleat Teflonฎ coated filters and low air-to-cloth ratio for low maintenance and long filter life. This filter system includes automatic compressed air purging system with PAT ented pneumatic purging diffusers (most modules) and cast aluminum alloy clean air fan with mill and chemical duty motor. Large filter access doors provide easy maintenance.
17. Vacupac II Filter Riser
Two standard filter module risers are available to provide additional filter length.
18. Vacupac II Filter Module Hopper
This hopper allows direct interface with MCFL Series Chokefeederฎ module or to product relief door module.
19. Product Relief Door Module
This module can prevent system plugging of cargo up to the belt conveyor and includes two, three or four Sealmaster heavy 22" x 14" cast aluminum alloy doors, either pneumatically or hydraulically actuated. This module is designed to dump product if a potential plugged condition occurs. Actuated by diaphragm sensors, these doors snap open when signalled. Signal can also be used to shut down complete loading system and open Chokefeederฎ vanes.
20. Velocity Reduction Module
Referred to as the MVRM or the dead fall box, this gravity module consists of special notched cones, one inside the other with each cone larger. Product spills over and through the notches and then over the top of each consecutive cone reducing velocity and dust.
21. Chokefeederฎ Module
With and Without Antidegradation Sensor Option
Available in sizes to 6000 TPH, this PLC vane control module electronically knows when to release product on the pile at a significantly reduced velocity with virtually no dust. Actuated by special electronic sensors and PLC logic, this Chokefeederฎ module guarantees no visible dust will be emitted to the air or water. This shiploader can be used to reduce degradation of product by soft loading delicate cargo. Pre-programmed with eight alternate programs, this unit is ideal for ship and barge loading as well as open stockpiling, and is available in several classes of construction including cast 316L stainless steel vanes and hubs. This Chokefeederฎ module is equipped with rugged neoprene dock bumper, stainless steel access doors and pneumatic accumulator as standard equipment.
22. Mining Series Lift Ring Assembly
Includes heavy four point cable pickup with machined adjusent bolts on top of each lift ring tube, direct bolt interface to product relief door module, trimming spoons, Rockloader module or flexible skirts.
23, 23A. Flexible Discharge Skirts
Neoprene, gum rubber and heavy duty Bulldog skirts are available as options for all non-Chokefeederฎ Heavy Duty Mining Series shiploaders or open stackers.
24. Rockloader Antidegradation Module
For loading or stacking large abrasive lumps, the Rockloader module can be bolted direct to telescoping tube discharge or Heavy Duty Mining Series lift ring. Hydraulically or electrically actuated the Rockloader discharge clamshells are automatically signaled to release cargo gently into the hold of a ship.
25, A, B, C Rotating Product Trimmers
Rotating trimmers are used to trim out corners of ship or barge holds or unfilled areas under decks. Limited by product column velocity, this trimmer will usually allow trajectory to extend out from column centerline by 6 to 8 feet.
26. Non-Tilt Trimming Spoon
Directs cargo out from the centerline of the column. and is available in a wide variety of construction including Class IA, II, III, IV, V, and with optional replaceable wear plates.
27. Tiltaway Trimming Spoon
Can be remotely pushed out of the product column by the operator if not required, eliminating costly down time for removal. Electric, pneumatic or hydraulic Tiltaway actuation available.
28. Hydratilt Rotating Trimming Spoon
For variable trimming trajectories, this hydraulically adjustable spoon allows the operator to adjust trajectory to suit variable cargos or vessel comparent configuration as well as pushing the spoon to park position out of the cargo column when not required.
